Seoul Sanctuary
Among Omegas, a rare few possess the peculiar trait of shedding tears that crystallize into gemstones. Even among them, the gems Geum Seoul weeps are of such inferior grade that they are virtually worthless. Bearing a crooked nose, bulky braces pushing out his front teeth, and a stout frame, he lives as an inconspicuous errand boy at a gemstone auction house in an abandoned village—until one day, a man named Gwichang appears before him.
Gwichang approached, asking bluntly, “How much for errands?”
“Pardon?”
Gwichang looked him up and down. “Your price for scurrying around like that.”
“…It varies, but at most…” Seoul murmured hesitantly.
“Riiight,” Gwichang drawled with a lazy smirk. “Whatever it is, I’ll pay top dollar, so run my errands too.”
From that day on, Seoul finds himself swept into Gwichang’s hidden agenda. What’s more, the man soon uncovers the secret Seoul has kept buried for so long…
“Um. My face… I…” Seoul stammered.
Gwichang gave a dry snort. “I know.”
“Pardon?”
“I said I know,” Gwichang countered, stepping closer. “That it’s a fake.”
Amid the whirlwind of escalating events, the two men begin to change—each in their own distinct way.
