Love Potion

Kosha, a poor goose herder barely making a living in a small village.

His only joy in his arduous life is to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Lucian from afar.

The lord of Carlot, the third son of the king, and the most beloved knight in Izeland, Lucian.

How could anyone not like him, with his kindness and humility?

If he hadn’t started making potions to make a living, Kosha would never have been involved with him in his life.

“Make the antidote. They say only you can solve it since you made the potion.”

Thugs abruptly kidnap Kosha, demanding the antidote to the completely bogus ‘Love Potion.’

“I’ll make anything! The, the antidote. I’ll make it. Please, if you just let me go, I’ll make it right away, I’ll make it right away! I promise, I swear.”

He doesn’t even know what the antidote is, but he begs and pleads to be released,

Only to find out that the ‘victim’ of the potion is none other than Lucian.

That alone is unbelievable, but to make matters worse, he is no longer the gentle prince Kosha knew.

“Behave.”

“……”

“It’s not hard to just kill you and be done with it.”

Good heavens, what on earth did that shoddy Love Potion do to the hero of Izeland?

“Now, Kosha.”

At the end of an unreadable gaze, he gently removed the hand wrapped around his arm and opened his mouth.

“First, let’s make this clear. I am the decision-maker between us.”

His gaze was calm and his voice was composed. Perhaps that’s why it sounded like he was stating a fact, not an opinion.

“Your feelings, well, I’ll concede that much to you. But our relationship doesn’t end just because there’s no love.”

“……?”

“Whether you love me or not, you’re still ‘My mage.’ The one I found, the one I raised, My mage.”
