Hypnosis Altering the Emperor’s Common Sense
“I took you for a foolish puppet… how unexpected,” Adrian murmured with an insolent smirk. “You certainly have a stubborn streak, Your Majesty.”
“What did you just—”
Just as Lucian’s brow furrowed in mounting displeasure, Adrian leisurely raised a hand. With a clear metallic chime, a glittering pocket watch began to swing from his fingertips like a gentle pendulum.
In a low, rhythmic cadence, Adrian murmured, “From this moment on, every single word we utter will be Your Majesty’s only truth, and your body will obediently follow suit.”
At the low murmur, Lucian’s gaze locked onto the rhythmic sway of the watch as if drawn by a magnet. As his eyes tracked its arc, his body stiffened, only for his tense shoulders to give way and slump limp. The sapphire brilliance of his eyes slowly clouded over with haze.
“…Nnh…” A faint sound slipped past his lips.
Curling one corner of his mouth, Adrian whispered, “Your Majesty, everything we say is for your own good. So no matter what it is, do not resist.”
“Do not… resist…” Lucian echoed softly, the words drifting from his mouth like an echo as a strange vigor bled back into his clouded eyes.
“It is merely a matter of taking off your clothes,” Adrian urged smoothly. “To refuse such a thing would be foolish, wouldn’t it, Your Majesty?”
“…That’s right.”
In that moment, as though a switch had clicked somewhere deep within his mind, he could no longer comprehend why he had fought so hard to resist only moments before.
