With those words, Taeju patted the empty spot beside him and tugged at Rian’s hesitant wrist, silently telling him to lie down.

Sensing that Rian was faltering and unable to refuse, Taeju applied more force and pulled him closer.

“Ah, w-wait a second…!” Rian gasped, stumbling forward.

“Come on, I’m fucking exhausted,” Taeju grumbled. “I told you, we’re just sleeping. Don’t be so sensitive.”

Kim Taeju wrapped an arm around Rian’s neck with an affable grin and pulled him close. Overpowered by the physical strength, Rian had no choice but to be dragged down beside Taeju. The moment his body sank into the mattress, exhaustion crashed over him in waves. Abandoning any thought of getting back up, Rian clung to the very edge of the bed.

It should be fine if we’re just sleeping, Rian thought, turning his back toward Taeju. It was the only defense he could muster against him. Seeing Rian turn away like that, Taeju let out a smirk.

Sharing the same bed caused Kim Taeju’s pheromones to pour out with even greater intensity. Being around Rian was undeniably effective.

The problem was that Taeju was on the verge of crossing the line entirely.

One hour passed, then two…. By the time the dangerously oblivious Kwon Rian had drifted into a deep slumber, Taeju was staring at the curved line of Rian’s back.

He wanted to touch him. He craved the slender waist revealed beneath that thin shirt, and he yearned to gorge himself on the sweet pheromones seeping from Rian in his sleep.

“Ah, fuck… I want to suck him dry so bad,” Taeju swore under his breath.

Unconsciously, Taeju crept closer toward Rian. The nearer he got, the more saliva pooled beneath his tongue, driving him insane. Thoughts of lunging like a beast to bite, tear, and taste the boy consumed his mind. In the end, unable to suppress the rush of arousal, Taeju surrendered to his base instincts.

Moments later, Taeju pressed flush against Rian’s back and began grinding against him. Without realizing it, Taeju rubbed his hardening cock against Rian over their clothes.

“Nngh….” Rian groaned softly, stirring in discomfort.

Rian tossed and turned, disturbed by the friction. Within minutes, Taeju came, his semen soaking through the waistband of Rian’s trousers.

Kim Taeju’s eyes darkened with raw lust. Having completely lost his reason, Taeju crawled under the duvet and moved down toward Rian’s legs.

Inhaling the intoxicating scent in a drunken daze, Taeju rasped, “Ha, fuck, these pheromones… insanely sweet.”

Grabbing hold of Rian’s trousers, Taeju prepared to yank them down. Half-crazed with lust, he was desperate to see with his own eyes whatever lay between Rian’s thighs.

Drrr—!

Somewhere in the room, a cell phone began to vibrate.

“Hnnh….” Rian stirred, murmuring softly in his sleep.

It was Rian’s phone. Startled, Taeju reached out toward the pillow where the vibrating device lay, intending to kill the call before it could cause any complications. But just then—

“Huh? Taeju?” Rian blinked up at him, startled.

“Ah? Uh, yeah….” Taeju stammered, freezing in place.

Wait, this bastard was sleeping so deeply someone could have carried him off without him noticing, and now he’s awake?

Rian gazed up at him with clear, wide-open eyes. Scrambling to conceal his panic, Kim Taeju bolted upright and crawled out from under the duvet.

Grasping for an excuse, Taeju mumbled, “Ah… I just toss and turn a lot in my sleep.”

“…” Rian gave him a bewildered look.

Sensing the strange atmosphere, Rian tilted his head with an odd expression, prompting Taeju to hastily gesture toward the cell phone with his chin.

“Anyway, isn’t your phone ringing?” Taeju deflected quickly. “Who would call at this hour?”

Feeling a sticky, damp heat clinging to his lower body beneath the blanket, Rian reached down to lift the cover.

“Must be urgent,” Taeju pressed, desperate to divert Rian’s attention.

Terrified that what he had just done might be discovered, Taeju urged Rian once more to answer.

Tearing his gaze away from the sheets, Rian murmured, “Ah, yeah.”

Only then did Rian set aside the damp discomfort under the covers to check his phone. The moment he saw the caller ID, a spark flared in his eyes. It was Yu-gyeom. After leaving Rian waiting all day without a single call, what time was it now? One in the morning.

A sudden surge of gladness and sorrow rushed through him all at once as Rian swiped the call open.

“Hyung?” Rian called out into the receiver.

—”Hello? This is the Hankook Hospital emergency room,” a strange voice spoke over the line. “Are you a family member of Mr. Yu-gyeom?”

“The hospital?” Rian gasped, his mind reeling. “Yes, yes, I’m his family.”

He had assumed without a doubt that it would be Yu-gyeom, but the voice belonged to a stranger. The unexpected mention of a hospital drained the color from Rian’s face.

A sudden surge of dread and anxiety crashed over him. Kwon Rian gripped his shirt tightly with trembling fingers.

—”Yes. He was brought in after a traffic accident, and he urgently requested his guardian,” the nurse explained. “Could you come to the hospital right away?”

“A-An accident?!” Rian cried out, panic seizing his chest. “I’ll come right now! Hankook Hospital, right?!”

—”Ah, yes… then plea—” the nurse began.

The nurse on the other end of the line seemed to be trying to say something urgently, but Rian had already lost his composure and frantically terminated the call. The single thought burning in his head was that he had to get to Yu-gyeom immediately.

Seeing Kwon Rian suddenly break into tears and scramble to throw on his clothes, Taeju watched him in shock.

“Hey, what’s going on?” Taeju asked, baffled.

“Hyung… hic, what do I do?” Rian sobbed, tears streaming down his face. “They said hyung was in an accident! He might be dying! He needs me!”

“Wait, what?!” Taeju exclaimed, taken aback.

An accident? How could that happen to Yu-gyeom hyung?

What if I lose hyung too, just like that day I lost Mom and Dad?

Rian’s mind went completely blank, white as a sheet of paper. Any form of rational thought was impossible. His head was filled only with the desperate certainty that he had to get to Hankook Hospital right now. He had to go save his brother; if Yu-gyeom were truly in mortal danger, Rian would regret it for the rest of his life.

Lunging forward, he shouted after the fleeing boy, “No, wait, how are you even going to get there right now? Huh? Hey!”

Taeju grabbed at him from behind, trying to stop him, but it was useless. Half out of his mind, Kwon Rian burst straight out of the vacation villa and ran blindly down the pitch-black road. In the end, only after Kim Taeju caught up and called a taxi for him was Rian able to head toward the hospital.

Taeju repeatedly insisted on going with him, but Rian coldly climbed into the cab alone and slammed the door shut. Watching the taxi speed away into the distance, Taeju stood frozen on the empty road for a long time.

“Ha, fuck… Just go ahead and die, then,” Taeju spat bitterly.

The thought of Yu-gyeom ruining his plans at every single turn made Taeju’s stomach twist with venomous rage. Yes, if things had come to this, he even harbored the vicious wish that the bastard would just drop dead.

Only when the taillights of the taxi completely vanished from view did Taeju ruffle his hair in frustration and turn back toward the house.

“Yaaawn….” Taeju let out a long yawn.

Even though he hadn’t gone all the way, shooting a full load against Kwon Rian’s ass had left him thoroughly spent, and a heavy wave of drowsiness washed over him.
